With his degree in business management and 23 years business operations experience, Ed provides strategic leadership and management.
Azir Khalid
Financial Controller
Azir brings over 10 years' experience in bookkeeping and business accounting, with extensive knowledge of various business and accounting software packages.
Cheryl Smith
Home Manager, Chilton Place
Cheryl is a level 5 Registered Manager’s Award winner with over 20 years' experience working in the Care Home Sector. Cheryl is responsible for regulatory management and day-to-day running of the care home.
About Us
Opened in 1983, Glaslyn Care Homes is registered with the local authorities and caters to a variety of needs any resident may have. Mrs Olive P Wright, the original owner of Glaslyn Retirement Homes Ltd and a Brynmawr native, has retired after 32 years of hard work and dedication. Glaslyn Care Homes is now in the capable hands of her daughter Ingrid. Glaslyn Care Homes is comprised of two care homes; Glaslyn Court in Gilwern and Chilton Place in Brynmawr.
